Morgane Barbet-Massin
I am currently a postdoctoral associate at the Paris-Sud University in Orsay, France.
My current research interests are at the interface between biogeography, global change biology, ecological modelling, functional ecology and community ecology.
The core of my research consisted so far to use species distribution models (SDM) in order to predict the potential impact of climate change on species distributions. SDM are empirical models relating field observations to environmental predictor variables, based on statistically or theoretically derived response surfaces. During my PhD, I focused on European bird species.
